Humanforce is a Sydney, Australia-based global provider of cloud-based workforce management solutions aimed at roster-driven, shift-based workforces that’s used by more than 1,300 businesses across 23 countries. Situation
In 2021, Humanforce wished to transform their finance team to support the growth of their cloud-based workforce management tool efficiently and effectively. With sales growing exponentially, the company simply didn’t have the capacity with internal resources to stay on top of their daily finance tasks and responsibilities.
Humanforce were aware they needed to establish a highly scalable solution for their finance team and, as such, they approached Dexterous to step in and support.
Solution
Working in collaboration with Humanforce’s CFO, Head of Finance and Accountant, Dexterous set to work. Initially, Dexterous supported the team with collections, accounts payable, and email administration. Over time, Dexterous increased its support to assist Humanforce onsite and remotely managing daily finance tasks such as bank reconciliations and accounts receivable and assisting with month-end preparations.
Since inception, Dexterous has:
- Streamlined internal processes of the finance function. For example, month end is now completed in three working days instead of two weeks.
- Provided professional knowledge and advice to guide seamless integration of payment gateways into their accounting system.
- Assisted with software implementation projects to improve system integration that saves time.
- Worked flexibly with Humanforce’s internal team members based on their evolving needs.
Ongoing Outcome
Humanforce considers Dexterous an essential part of its finance function. Every month, Dexterous effectively assist the finance function of their business allowing internal staff to focus on new sales and business growth.
Currently, Dexterous is helping Humanforce with a new ERP implementation project that will streamline their systems and aid in real-time data insights.
