The Client Manager is responsible for managing the company’s relationship with its clients, providing mentoring, support, and guidance to the client team, and ensuring the client retention rate remains high and long-term relationships are maintained. 

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding client’s financial/business objectives 
  • Operate as the primary contact for client inquiries, clarifications, and issues 
  • Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded in every interaction 
  • Work closely with our accounting professionals to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting 
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements 
  • Identify financial and compliance risks for clients and conduct appropriate research to resolve associated issues 
  • Identify opportunities to expand our services and solutions to meet clients’ evolving needs 

To be succesful in this role you will have:

  • Leadership capability 
  • Strong internal and external relationship-building skills 
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems. 
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and tax regulations. 
  • CA or CPA (preferred) 
  • Competent in the use of Xero and other accounting software 
  • Proficient in Excel 
  • Proven experience managing multiple clients 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
