The Business Development Specialist will support the sales process by managing qualified leads. As the key connection between initial prospect engagement and client conversion, you’ll play a vital role in growing our client base and revenue.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Qualify and manage inbound leads from the Managing Director
  • Coordinate and lead discovery calls with prospective clients
  • Accurately assess client needs during discovery conversations
  • Prepare and deliver customized service proposals
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospects throughout the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding
  • Track sales activity, document interactions, and follow up on long-term opportunities
  • Develop a strong understanding of our full suite of AI, HR, and Finance resource solutions/services
  • Communicate pricing models and engagement structures appropriate to client size and complexity

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, sales support, or similar role, preferably in professional services or financial sectors
  • Basic understanding of AI, HR, accounting and bookkeeping services to effectively communicate with prospects
  • Proven track record of managing inbound leads and supporting B2B sales processes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain accounting services to non-financial professionals
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple prospects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
  • Understanding of LinkedIn as a lead generation platform is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, accounting, or related field preferred
