Before you close for Christmas and head off on holiday, here’s some quick tips to ensure your office is in order…
- Pay your staff salaries during or prior to this period and make sure you have considered annual leave loading requirements if applicable.
- Set aside money to cover loss of income during this time.
- Turn off all office equipment to conserve power usage – shut down the computers (don’t just log off), switch off everything at the power point.
- Notify your clients, suppliers and contractors your closing period.
