Purpose of Role

We do so by leveraging ‘off the shelf’ or RPA technologies and engaging a global workforce to provide our clients with a highly scalable, full-service financial team. The Finance Manager will play a key role in overseeing and managing Dexterous’ financial health, guiding the Management and Leadership Team in making sound financial decisions based on data insights. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provide strategic advice on financial initiatives and strategies to enhance performance.
  • Prepare accurate statutory accounts and financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Manage the month-end process, including general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, and production of P&L statements.
  • Analyse budget variances and conduct cashflow forecasting.
  • Submit taxation returns, including BAS, FBT, and GST.
  • Supervise, mentor, and coach direct reports to foster a high-performing team.
  • Educate team members on internal processes and encourage a mindset of automation and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular audits of internal controls to ensure adoption of standardized financial processes.
  • Drive ongoing process enhancements to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in financial reporting and operations.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA preferred).
  • Extensive experience in finance management, with a proven ability to oversee and improve financial systems and processes.
  • Expertise in global accounting processes and financial regulations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, cashflow forecasting, and taxation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
